An Israeli SME has developed an innovative Linear Heat Detector (LHD) system. This new generation system is a restorable, fast response LHD that uses metal tubing incorporated with electronics that measures the rate of temperature change. This system is ideally suited for outdoor use, engine compartments and problematic or `dirty` environments. Fire Detection/Suppression Systems installers and manufacturers are sought for cooperation.

Details

This innovative system is based on a thin, strong, resilient, and flexible wire type heat detector, which is extended over areas that are prone to fires or overheating. The Fire/Overheating Detection System is not limited by the shortcomings of typical wire linear-type Fire/Overheating Detection Systems. Due to its design, it is suitable for applications that require all-over real-time indoor and outdoor fire detection systems in industrial and domestic environments. It is unique in its sensitivity, reliability and adjustability having a fast response time - unlike conventional, non restorable, fixed temp, slow response and less sensitive devices.

This system is especially suitable for niche applications in harsh industrial environments where conventional devices fail to provide an effective solution, including the petrochemical industry, alternative fuel vehicles, electrical cabinets, engine rooms (ships, yachts), restored buildings, tunnels, museums, and the arms ammunitions and aerospace industries.

Innovative Aspects:
1. The system responds to the rate the temperature rises as opposed to conventional devices that respond to pre-determined fixed temperatures.
