The company is looking for data, documentation and documentation systems for woodbased construction materials in wooden multistorey buildings. Requirements from the insurance companies regarding fire safety in Norway are mainly based on data from traditional wooden buildings which does not match the characteristics of modern wooden constructions. The norwegian company is looking for knowhow and systems for documentation on firesafety in order to be able to update the way insurance fees are defined today. This updating is necessary if one wants to increase to use of wooden constructions on multistorey buildings. Without updating the methods for documentation, the overall costs for projects will have difficulties in competing with concrete or steel based constructions on buildings.
