Kurzfassung

A Romanian ICT company offers a software system for sales force automation. Advantage: it was developed based upon innovative concepts, uses state-of-the-art technical components (devices for GPRS online communication, personal digital assistants, etc), and is already interfaced with more than 20 accounting and ERP systems. Details

This software system was developed based upon innovative concepts and uses state-of-the-art technical components (devices for GPRS - General Packet Radio Service online communication, personal digital assistants, etc). It is already interfaced with more than 20 accounting and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.

The system relies on a modular backbone that is flexible and adjustable, enabling the customer to choose whichever components (s)he wants. It leads to optimisation of the sales and marketing activities.
It uses mobile terminals (Personal Digital Assistants) with or without data transmission through "Global System for Mobile communication" - "General Packet Radio Services" (GSM - GPRS). The system targets suppliers with local or national coverage, whose sales or merchandising agents are working in the field. With this system, the mobile terminals can be permanently hooked to the central computer system of the client, enabling bidirectional transfer of information between the company headquarters and its sales/merchandising agents. Anyone who is not already taking advantage of a SFA (Sales Force Automation) solution is invited to analyse the opportunity of adopting this software system, an application that can lead to spectacular increases in a sales team’s efficiency.

Innovative Aspects:
This software, unlike other systems for sales force automation, has been interfaced with most of the ERP and accounting systems present on the Romanian market. Another important feature is its ability to function in the absence of an Internet connection. - Access to useful activity reports: these reports are automatically generated and make obsolete the cumbersome process of periodically filling out work status reports
