A Spanish public technological centre works on the promotion and development of the cork, wood and wood coal sectors. The services provided include forestry and industrial consultancy, laboratory analysis and promotion. The technological centre has developed a remote-controlled cargo vehicle for the transport of forestry materials in areas of difficult access or with steep slopes. They are looking for licensing agreements or technical cooperation agreements.

A Spanish technological centre provides a range of promotion and consultancy services for the cork, wood and wood coal sectors. They work on groves restoration, forestry research, search of new products and quality control.
The technological centre has developed a remote-controlled forestry cargo vehicle able to manoeuvre in hard-to-reach zones or pieces of land with steep slopes (see photo attached). The vehicle has a double-chassis articulated system that enables it to access to areas not accessible for other vehicles, such as areas with great incline or lands with plentiful vegetation. The vehicle is designed for transporting forestry materials like cork, wood, resins, etc. where the usual means of transport are either steeds or human beings (handmade transport). The transport by hand has the disadvantage of slowing down labour and increasing costs.
The incorporation of a remote-controlled system enables the user to handle the vehicle from a distance, which improves the security of the operators. Furthermore, the cargo vehicle allows working on heights from a platform provided with a banister.
The operators do not have to be qualified. That is, the tasks of loading and control can be implemented by operators without experience just following some short instructions. The technological centre staff tests its prototypes in real work conditions.
The technological centre is looking for licensing agreements or technical cooperation agreements including joint further development or testing of new applications of remote-controlled cargo vehicles.

The cargo vehicle is remote-controlled and works on heights. The double-chassis articulated system allows the vehicle to access to zones not accessible for other vehicles.
Other advantages offered by this vehicle include transport automation and easiness to manoeuvre in zones of steep slopes or difficult access in general.
Finally, skilled personnel is not necessary to operate the cargo vehicle since loading and control can be made by staff without experience just following some instructions in brief.
