A Spanish SME has developed a prototype that permits the reutilisation of sewage water from showers, toilets, pipes, etc. for its use in cisterns and irrigations. This prototype is designed for household use. They are interested in commercial agreement with technical assistance or patent license agreements.
Details
The created prototype is based on a purification system completely integrated in the piping system. The prototype collects all the sewage water from showers, washing machine, etc. and transfers it to the purification system. Once there, the water is purified up to the required levels to be used in cisterns and irrigation.
Innovative Aspects:
The main advantage of this technology is the cost saving in water consumption, reducing it by more than 30%. This is an important economical saving for families; moreover it benefits the environment.
Even though there are other alternatives on the market due to the reduced size of the installation, this prototype is the best option to household use.
The latest innovation in this technology is the installation of this type of system in private houses. Until now this technology has been applied only in industry or buildings, but thanks to its reduced size, the prototype is just like another home appliance.
Besides, it doesn’t need maintenance by qualified technicians.
