A Greek SME in the waste utilisation and energy management sector is seeking advanced know-how/systems for the treatment of solid and/or liquid waste and residues to produce usable energy. The waste/ residues to be treated originate from fish, wood, chip/particle-boards, olive oil, slaughter houses and textile-dyeing processing units, in volumes from several hundred to a few thousand tons per year. Industrial and engineering partners are sought to provide the requested know-how/systems.

A Greek consulting and engineering SME active in the design, implementation and support of energy investments is seeking advanced know-how/systems for the treatment of solid and/or liquid waste and residues in order to produce usable energy. The waste and residues to be treated derive from fish, wood, chip/particle-boards, olive oil, slaughterhouses and textile-dyeing processing units. Waste volumes range from several hundred to a few thousand tons per year.
Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
The systems/ expertise sought, should be appropriate for the treatment and utilisation of the following types of waste, for the production of energy:
- Solid waste from fish processing units (fish heads, fish tails): 5000 t/ year - Wood residues (wood chips, sawdust, wood trim): 300 - 2000 m3/year.
- MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard), residues: 300 - 1500 m3/year.
- Olive Oil mill waste (dregs, not pits) 1700 t/year.
- Slaughterhouse waste (solid and liquid) 2500 t/year.
- Wastewater from textile dyeing plants, 250 m3/hr, 6000 hr/year.
The systems and know-how sought should be of high performance, cost-effective, and already operational in similar processing units for a minimum of 3 years. Processes and channels for disposal of the waste after its utilisation for the production of energy should also be proposed.
