The substance’s action consists of oxidising external structures of microorganisms, which does not cause any increase in their resistance. The substance shows biocidal effectiveness already with a 0,1 % concentration of working solutions.
Magnesium monoperoxyphthalate has a form of a white, crystalline powder, the odour whereof is characteristic for peroxides.
The spectrum of biocidal action includes bacteria, fungi, Candida, viruses and spores.
Magnesium monoperoxyphthalate can be used as an active substance for production of:
- Preparations for washing and disinfection of surgical and dental equipment.
- Biocidal preparations for washing and disinfection of appliances and surfaces in health services.
