A Finnish mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) has built an environment for development of new mobile services. The MVNO provides an advanced and authentic wireless environment, with carrier-grade enablers, where companies can test and further develop their wireless applications and services. MVNO is looking for partners, who are interested in developing and testing wireless applications, services and technologies.

The core of the service is a closed operator environment, functioning nationwide Multi Access (2G, 3G, b3G, WLAN, mWimax) network. The platform enables testing of new mobile applications and services in an authentic environment with real user groups. The services built around the platform support the innovation and development of mobile services. The platform is intended for companies that are not able to test their products properly in commercial mobile operator networks.

For example the platform’s SIP-technology and IMS server enables testing of new kinds of IP-based services e.g. Push-to-talk, Multiplayer games and content sharing. Multi access radio network interfaces enable versatile tests related to network roaming.
