Details

The air freshener system consists of the following components: an exchangeable container for the essential oil, a controlled dispensing unit, an air quality sensor and an evaporating unit. The whole system is managed by a control unit and placed in a robust stainless steel housing.

The expertise of the company includes knowledge about the technology of the air freshener and the characteristics of different essential oils for air refreshment.Also the company had in depth knowledge of specific air quality issues for application areas such as hotel/catering industry and public space and health care.

The main areas of application are hotel/catering industry, health care, offices, public space and retail. Air fresheners in a B2B environment are mostly serviced by cleaning agencies

Innovative Aspects:
Air fresheners making use of essential oils are based on passive evaporating that gives a constant flow of vapour. This innovative air freshener uses a (active) heating element for the evaporation. The heating element is switched on/off depending on the air quality that is measured by the sensing unit. Stand alone air fresheners based on chemical ingredients work with passive or active evaporation but are not sensor controlled.

This air freshener technology guaranties a constant air quality level and also saves essential oil because only oil is evaporated when necessary. More in general this technology strengthens the attractiveness of environmentally sound fresheners that are based on essential oils. The environment gets less effected by propellants and hazardous chemical gasses. Air freshness based on essential oils is also know for its positive effect on human well being.
