An Israeli SME has developed a breakthrough technology fully integrating textile and plastic in one new inseparable material, without any binder, maintaining top quality textile on the upper layer. The unique weaving process maintains the qualities of both textile and plastic and enjoys longer shelf life than any other solution, enabling full textile design freedom: pattern, texture and color and allows functional flexibility by enabling the designer to vary the plastic characteristics: thickness, hardness and flexibility in differing areas on the same sheet.

As the company does not have manufacturing capabilities, they are looking for partners for joint development using the new technology together with the partner’s expertise in the heavy technical textile manufacturing field.

Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
Weaving companies with:
- looms that can weave fabrics going from 1 kg to 3 kg per sqm.
- fabric density should be between 40 to 90 yarns per cm (warp/weft).
- at least two kinds of material in different kinds of thickness.
- thick fibers are between 1100 to 3300 DTEX, while their weight goes from 25% to 60% of the fabric’s weight.
- loom can be jacquard or Dobby, Dobby loom should have 24 harnesses.
- loom should have at least 2 warp beams.
