Low cost transparent conductive oxide (TCO) covered substrates

Kurzfassung

An Italian University research team is looking for transparent conductive oxide (TCO) covered rigid glass or flexible PET (polyethylene terephthalate) or PEN (polyethylene naphthalate) substrates. The team is also seeking transparent coductive coating materials other than conductive oxides with similar conduictive and transparent properties. The team is looking for partners interested in technical collaboration to develop the requested technologies or suppliers.

Details

TCO films should have sheet resistances of the order of 10 Ohms/square and good mechanical and light transmission properties. The application for these substrates will be thin film solar cells, more specifically dye sensitised and polymer solar cell technology, for both rigid (glass) and flexible (PEN & PET) applications. Substrates materials must be transparenst such as glass, PET-poly (ethylene terephthalate) or PEN-poly (ethylene-naphthalate).

The researchers are also seeking transparent conductive coating materials other than conductive oxides with similar conductive and trasparent properties but easier to deposit (eg lamination or solution processing).
