A Dutch SME is specialized in the engineering and production and worldwide marketing of ovens for industrial bakeries. The company wants to expand its product line with a modular heat recovery system that is suitable for the different types of ovens and can cope with the mixture of flue gases and baking vapours. The company is interested in a commercial agreement with technical assistance with globally operating manufacturer of heat exchangers.

The Dutch company started its activities as an industrial oven manufacturer in 1890. The product range includes direct gas fired, indirect fired radiation and indirect fired convection orientated ovens for industrial bakeries. The company wants to expand its product line with a modular heat recovery system. In this way the energy-efficiency of the ovens can be increased and the end-user will get extra features for re-using heat, in the form of producing for example hot water, electricity or cold air. The challenge is to develop a 24/7 reliable system that can handle baking vapours. Quotations sofar have not been adequate. The company is looking for a commercial agreement with technical assistance with a globally operating manufacturer of heat exchangers.

Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
Operation temperatures are varying between 150 and 500°C.
Air volumes flue gas: ± 175 – 4800 m^3/h
Air volumes flue gas + vapour exhaust: ± 500 - 2000 m^3/h
The vapour is a varying mixture of moisture, baking fumes, fats and several carbon-hydrogen-compositions.
