High Brightness Light Emitting Diode (HBLED) as semi-finished product in manufacturing process of external lighting.

A Polish external lighting manufacturing company developed technology of production of external lighting based on High Brightness Light Emitting Diode (HBLED). The company is looking for innovative HBLED which has power from 80 lm to 120 lm (presently on the market are available HBLED with illuminating power to 80 lm) and life to 100 000 hours as semi-finished product in manufacturing process of external lighting. The technology requested should be fully developed.

Details

The company wants to improve the process of production of external lighting based on BHLED technology. The High Brightness Light Emitting Diode will be used as semi-finished product in manufacturing process. The diodes should have power from 80 lm to 120 lm and life to 100 000 hours. This technology should allowed for achievement the same parameters by using smallest number of diodes and less energy. Now the diodes with illumination power between 80 lm – 120 lm need power 1W. Innovative aspect of the technology is that the new diodes will have bigger illumination power about 50% (from 80 lm to 120 lm) and the similar power 1W - 1,2W like the diodes with illuminating power to 80.
Color of the light should be white. It can by single diodes or jointed in modules with 28 diodes. Already on the market are available only single diodes with illuminating power to 80 lm. The technology requested should be fully developed.
