Italian small company has developed a new technology to produce innovative panels in 100% wool-fibres material discarded during sorting phase for their too much strongness, therefore unsuitable for clothing. The main application are in the building and textile/clothing sectors. The main advantage is sustainable sound and thermal insulation system. The company is looking for industrial partners to test the applicability in others and in the above sectors to improve the usability of the product.

An Italian small company is specialized in the field of sound and thermal insulation performed with 100% bio-compatible natural materials. The company is active since 2002 and has got many joint ventures with Italian and international farmers associations to better develop its business. It works in partnership with many manufacturing companies with strong competencies in the fields of textiles and cardind technologies to realize a real short chain production for sound and insulating panels made of a 100% wool-based material. The technology of the product is mainly due to the properties (thermal and sound insulation) of the wool. The innovation concerns the processing the natural waste raw materials in small panels in order to give them high added value for the application in the building sector and, with some more research activities still to perform, in the textile sector.
