Scientific collaboration for the testing of an electrical device for the selective despondency of cellular populations in biologic liquids

The company, based in Italy intends to utilize their own electric sterilization apparatus to obtain the selective despondency of cellular populations in different liquids (water-blood-plasma). Therefore the company is in search of scientific collaborations with enterprises from the medical sector, research centres, laboratories and hospitals able to carry out numerous tests necessary to identify and catalogue frequencies to apply to the electric fields to break apart cell membranes.

The company intends to select and to develop innovative ideas, to realize prototypes and to finalize the patent procedure.
The studied and patented device consents to cause the elimination of cellular components which are present in a liquid by means of passing through diverse electric conductive sections alternated by isolating ones.
It seems as if - due to the effect that a cell is passing through diverse and appropriate electric fields - it is possible to provoke the break apart of cell membranes or of its nucleus, according to morphology, dimensions and composition of the cell.
The company deems that the medical sector would appreciate an apparatus that by exploiting specific characters of a cellular population is able to cause the only despondency of one type of population leaving unchanged other potentially existing populations.
By doing so, it would be possible to utilize this device in laboratories to separate one type of cells from another even in alternative to more complex and expensive systems.
Furthermore it could be possible to establish new modalities for the disease management: for example by applying appropriate electric fields in sequence in a range of Hz, only those cell membranes with major dimensions could be broken apart without damaging cell membranes of other or of those other small cell organs in a biologic liquid. The technology could be applied during phases of haematic leukemic crisis or for pathologies with regards to the immune system or with damaged or malformed red corpuscles.
The device is quite simple, but the determination of optimal voltage and frequencies that have to be applied with regards to the cell typology to be desponded and to the speed the liquid has to pass through requires competencies and materials which are available only in specialized centres the company is looking for.
