Kurzfassung
Polish research group developed technology for incubation of salmonidae in freshwater. Technology allows to incubate fish in their natural environment instead of artificial environment. Technology is cheaper, equally successful and more humanitarian than hatchery incubation. Partners interested in technical cooperation or manufacturing agreement are sought.
Details
A research group from Westpomeranian University developed and patented a technology that allows incubation of salmonidae in freshwater. Unlike traditional methods, this technology is designed in a way to incubate fish in their natural environment (freshwater) and not in the artificial environment (hatchery). As a consequence, this technology is much cheaper but equally efficient. More importantly, natural environment makes fish less prone to diseases (especially rear diseases) and to stress problems.
Technology is patented. Polish research group seeks partners interested in technical cooperation or manufacturing agreement.
