Kurzfassung
A small Romanian research company has developed a flat parallelepiped fluorescent low-pressure mercury lamp. Main innovative aspect and advantage: lighting efficiency 150 ÷ 500 lm/W, more than twice as much as such tubes. Type of partner sought: technical co-operation with a research organization for development, license agreement, joint venture or manufacturing agreement with a producer from the lighting field for manufacture and distribution of this kind of flat fluorescent lamps.
Details
This parallelepiped fluorescent low-pressure mercury lamp is part of a new generation of lamps, result of private research made by a Romanian small company. These are more economical, ecological, and efficacious, with a significant reduction of consumption.
Named generically “Fluorescent Quadrad”, this lamp is subject of a patent obtained in 2006, and has a lighting efficiency of 150 ÷ 500 lm/W, more than twice the current limit (of the years 2005- 2006).
The luminous flux emitted by a single flat lamp depends on its dimensions and can be between 4,000 and 8,000 lm, but there is no limitation. It is possible to obtain a rich colour palette and amazing effects by adding other noble gases. Thus, according to this invention, the producing of a lighting flux of 8x10 9 lm, well enough to illuminate 50
Km of a tourist littoral by replacing the existing tubes, leads to an energy reduction of 40 MW; for an average life of 10,000 hours, which means electric energy reduction of 400 GWh (equivalent with 64 millions Euros or 4,000 Kg gold of 1,000 title, or 960,000 barrels GB petroleum).
The beginning of lamp fabrication doesn’t require other authorizations, for a producer of such lamps, than the existing ones. The machines for production of this kind of tubes don’t exist yet, but its will be designed and patented for the first producer partner.
Innovative Aspects:
· The new space of UV generator is a plan bed quasi-epitaxially divided and parallel with fluorescent plans, the ignition of gaseous standard medium is made from multiple filament lines by discharging channels generated with linear spacers. The cross-section of cold plasma is very much reduced and demands reduced electrical intensity.
· Reduction of the quantities of mercury and noble gases.
· Use of plane plates of inorganic/organic glass.
· Usage of cold technologies during fabrication.
· A strong lighting efficiency of 150 ÷ 500 lm/W.
· Reduced quantities of mercury and noble gases.
· Use of plane plates of inorganic/organic glass.
· Usage of cold technologies during fabrication.
· Increased architectural value for ceiling lamps, wall lamps, floor lamps, lamps for swimming pools, etc
· The reduction of electric energy is more that 100%.
· Can be used in advertising panels, indicative and guideposts.
· The luminous flux emitted by a single flat lamp depends on its dimensions and can vary between 4,000 and 8,000 lm, but there is no limitation.
· The big surface of the flat lamp.
· The beginning of lamp fabrication doesn’t require other authorizations than the existing ones.
· Rich color palette and magic effects obtained by addition of other noble gases.
