A small Romanian research company has developed an very efficient lamp based on a tube with electric discharge in high-pressure mercury vapours with a lighting efficiency of 75~150 lm/W, double face to actual limit. The new lamp having standard external dimensions and gaseous medium is realized in degrees of efficiency from 75 to 150 lm/W. It has a new firebox for electric discharge and a new space for a UV generator, which is a cylindrical crown with reduced cross-section, and demands reduced electrical intensities. By reducing with 50% the power of inductive ballast, the copper consumption is also reduced with 50%.Innovative Aspects:The innovative aspect of the offer: the new firebox of electric discharge has a new space for a UVgenerator, which is a cylindrical crown with reduced cross section, and demands reduced electricalintensity. The main advantages of the offer are as follows: ·A strong lighting efficiency of 75-150 lm/W. ·Reduced quantities of mercury and noble gases. ·The reduction of electric energy consumption is more than 50%. ·Reduction of 50% of copper consumption from inductive ballast coil, by reducing with 50% the power of inductive ballast.
