Kurzfassung
A Swiss regional manufacturing network looks for technologies, patents and competences to produce light bulbs based on Light Emitting Diode LED, OLED or organic fluorescent technology that fit in E27 sockets. The sockets will be harvested from recycled old bulbs, the production costs and selling prices of the new bulbs should be comparable with the traditional ones. The sought technologies and patents should be close to production and market. Different types of co-operation can be considered.

A Swiss regional manufacturing and industrial network looks for competences, technologies and patents to produce light bulbs that fit in E27 sockets. The required bulbs should be based on Light Emitting Diode LED, Organic LED (OLED) technology or made of organic, renewable and environmental friendly fluorescent materials and produce a warm light, if possible dimmable.
The sizes of the components should be adequate in order to be mounted to an entire lighting system on or in a E27 socket. E27 refers to the screw fitting system which is most often used for general lighting systems and means Medium Edison Screw (ES).
The sockets will be reused sockets of old bulbs. The assembling is intended to be done manually or semi-automated.
The production costs and selling prices of the new bulbs should be comparable with the cost level of traditional bulbs.
Technologies and patents which are close to their introduction into production and market or have a good chance to answer the mentioned requirements are sought. The network is also interested in approaches and concepts which could be further developed and completed with the support of the university of applied sciences which is part of the network.
Production will be in Switzerland on a regional basis for the Swiss market.
The Swiss network has access to various networks dealing with topics like renewable and recycled resources, energy, green industries and technologies, sustainable way of living and civilisation development, nutrition, mobility, green economy and trading.
The network has also access to potential investors.
