Details
A Northern Ireland SME has developed software for rapidly implementing high performance, low latency signal and image processing applications onto modern programmable platforms. Their technology is based around high level modelling of applications with extensive automation of low-level implementation and integration details. In trials with defence and aerospace companies, their tools have demonstrated a 63% reduction in integration effort.
Their next generation solution begins with an abstracted view of the application and allows successive refinements within a single modelling environment; this approach provides extensive exploration capabilities and by automating much of the implementation details, it significantly reduces design times. To date, the company has worked extensively in the aerospace, defence, and security market, but is looking to expand their focus to target medical devices.
The company intends to submit a Eurostars proposal with the aim of developing challenging applications in the medical field using their innovative technology. They are actively seeking partners with either domain specific application experience or hardware intellectual property in the above field.
