Kurzfassung

An Italian engineering company is offering modules that determine attitude, heading, linear and angular velocity and acceleration, over three body axis. A SW package provides an elevate flexibility and interoperability selecting a wide set of data at different levels. The company seeks licensing agreements and technical cooperation with partners involved in the management of special vehicles and scenarios which require a high accuracy, to integrate in the system an inertial system unit.



Details

In the inertial systems field, the company designs and develops modules that determine attitude, heading, linear and angular velocity, acceleration, over three body axis; adopting accelerometers, gyros and magnetometers. Moreover the inertial systems can be provided of an integrated GPS or GPS/EGNOS receiver to determine position (latitude, longitude) and altitude of the body.
For automotive and aircraft (Ultra Light Vehicles – ULM -, unmanned aircrafts – UAV) applications the company provides solutions based on miniaturized sensors realized in MEMS technologies with reduced costs and middle high performance.
For applications that require very high precision and accuracy levels, as railways maintenance, the company adopts very high quality inertial components realized in laser or optical fibre technology (example FOG).
Inertial Systems are provided with a SW package that allows to interact with the module and providing an elevate flexibility and interoperability selecting a wide set of data and their output frequency.
The company provides two types of inertial systems. The first, based on MEMS technology is useful for application on UAV, ULM and special vehicles to estimate the attitude, the heading and the accelerations and angular speeds of the vehicle/aircraft; when provided of internal GPS receiver they can evaluate also position and altitude of the vehicle/aircraft.
The second, based on traditional high precision sensors, is ad hoc designed and configured to work as inertial core inside a more complex system to evaluate the railways geometry.
The company is looking for licensing agreements and technical cooperation with partners involved in activities related to the management of Ultra Light Aircraft, UAV, special aircraft, special vehicles and trains and needs to integrate in the system an inertial system unit able to determine a lot of parameters regarding the status of the same system (Attitude, heading, position, altitude, speeds and accelerations over body axis, derivate parameters, etc..).
Moreover, the company is looking for partners working in railways diagnostic or scenarios in which a high accuracy is required.
