On top of such IT provision, the company intends to set up a new bidding strategy based on the emerging IT paradigm of Cloud Computing services, aiming at strengthening its position on the Italian marketplace and opening European-wide market initiatives.
To this purpose, the company is interested in assessing the available foundational technologies required, concerning Business Process Design, Data Mash-up, Process Mash-up and Internet Service Bus on a Semantic basis, as well as Semantically-Enabled Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) infrastructures. Also, it is interested in research initiatives addressed to build its own private Cloud Computing platform, on top of which to provide a novel Software as a Service (SaaS) offer.
