A polish SME has developed a scaling central processing unit. The unit is used for controlling of gas detectors state. Thanks to modularity of devices, quantity of operated checkup-control channels can be freely adapted to specific client demands. The company is looking for partners from fire protection area for using license agreement and know-how or commercial agreement.

Details

The scaling central processing unit is a stationary installation. It is designed for controlling of gas detectors state (up to 500 detectors), visualization of the states and automatic control of peripheral devices.Optical and sound indicators, controllable valves, and others can be part of such peripheral devices. The unit should be used where there is necessity of life and property active protection against results of gas and liquid breakdown leakage. The scaling central processing unit has been designed and produced as a modal construction. Due to the modal construction it is possible to adapt the central unit size (quantity of operated checkup-control channels) to specific client demands. Irrespective of this, the installed and used unit can be easily extended according to increased requirements.Type and amount of used units is determined by used detectors, their amount, amount of external indicators or others devices.All measuring input and controlling output states are displayed in a colourful monitor SVGA with 1280x1024 picture definition. The unit is equipped with visual and sound signalling with storage and with external line type RS-485 with implemented protocol ModBUS/RTU.The central unit is a complete, cabled modules set. The modules are in casings for DIN bus. The set is composed of modules of: Central Processing Unit and SVGA driver, RS-485 input, 4-20 mA input, relay output, optical indicator - LED, buffer feeder, battery backup and others, for e.g. galvanic optoisolation.Power supply 230V~. The unit is equipped as a rule with buffer battery backup 12V=. The central units are assembled in standard installation cabinets made of metal. They dimensions are: 600mm x 600mm x 200mm.
