Kurzfassung
A Russian SME from Kaluga region, jointly with an R&D institute, developed a technology for production of high-performance refreshable filter systems for removing mechanical admixtures from technical oils. The new oil filters ensure a greater service life for hydraulic equipment of oil systems (pumps, reducers, etc.) at the objects of the fuel-energy complex, including nuclear power plants. The SME seeks partners for technical cooperation and commercial agreements with technical assistance.

Currently used means for purification of technical oils do not fully meet the technical and economic requirements: available filters have a short service life, they are not refreshable, they are costly. If a filtration system does not ensure the required level of oil purity, it results in a fast degradation of hydraulic equipment (friction elements – bearings, valves, etc.), control instrumentation, as well as the technical oil itself. Consequently, their service life is reduced.
The offered filtration systems allow for a considerable increase in the lifetime and reliability of hydraulic equipment and drives, due to less deterioration of friction elements. This is achieved through a constant removal of mechanical admixtures in a wide range of sizes from the working liquid (oil).
The offered filtration systems were developed with optimization of technical parameters by the finesse of filtration, output, lifetime and cost. Reduction of pore sizes to the required value, determined by the clearing of the working conjunction of hydrosystem’s elements, is balanced by the increase in the filtering surface area, until the acceptable parameters of pressure drop and lifetime are achieved.
Innovative Aspects:
The innovative aspect of the technology is the use of novel filtering materials: micron-sized netting, metal cloth of fibers d = 5,0 mcm, membranes manufactured by plasma-chemical (cathode) sputtering of a dispersed material to the substrate, and others.
Application of the offered filtration systems ensures increasing the purity and service life of technical oils, resulting in 4.5-6 times increase of pumps’ service life.
