A Hungarian small enterprise has developed a handheld light for use in railway environment. Main advantage: long operation time. Technology on offer is primarily suitable for railway companies, however, it can also be used for giving a variety of signals in all transportation services. The company is searching for industrial or service partners for technology development and serial production.

This Hungarian company develops road and railway transport solutions.
The technology is an innovative tool for railway traffic control. If the engine driver cannot see the light signal due to adverse weather conditions (i.e. night or fog), these handheld lights can be used. The handheld device emits white, green, red and yellow coloured light. Different device configurations are available, light can be emitted from one side or both sides of the device, and a bi-colour design is also available for purchase.
Handheld lights are normally stored at the station's control room. Lights are labelled based on their colour or colour combination. Senior signalmen use green-white lights to provide standardised traffic control signals to other workers, (i.e. engine drivers, railway shunters, ticket inspectors, etc.).
Other employees required to carry out observation activities typically use monochrome handheld lights:

- ticket inspector: white
- railway track worker: red.
