Innovative design for pipe hangers, clans and roller based sliding supports that lowers total cost of installations

A Turkish company engaged in manufacturing of fixing systems has developed a new design for support systems (pipe hangers, clams and roller based sliding supports) used in pipe linenings and other industrial, commercial, utility and ventilating applications. The new design developed provides an innovative solution that lowers total cost of installation. The Turkish company is looking for commercial agreements with technical assistance with the contractors of industrial projects.

Details

All pipes irrespective of materials of construction have a self weight based on diameter of pipe, wall thickness & specific gravity of the raw material used for manufacturing the pipe. Pipelines have to be supported by external means at regular intervals to prevent them from sagging due to their intrinsic self weight & the weight of the fluids inside the pipe.

A Turkish company engaged in manufacturing of fixing systems is involved in the design production of Support Systems (MSS SP 58/69/89) and has developed an innovative support and slide assembly system to be used in support of pipe hangers and other industrial applications. The new design provide the most accurate supporting loads for pipe throughout the full range of movement, along with the simplest load adjustment of any manufacturer in the industry today.

The developed slide assemblies are designed to ensure positive pipe alignment. This is accomplished by restricting lateral pipe movement while allowing for movement along the axis of the pipe. When expansion devices such as pipe loops, bellows joints and slip joints are used, pipe slides ensure proper operation of the expansion device and protect the integrity of the pipe.

The Turkish company is seeking out commercial agreements with technical assistance with the contractors of industrial projects.

Innovative Aspects:
Usage of the mentioned system lowers the total cost of installation by enabling faster installation. The new design offered eliminates cumbersome, time consuming field modifications. Moreover, the design offers modular elements that need no drilling or welding. The height adjustments can be easily accomplished.
Other than these, the materials used are electrogalvanized for corrosion resistance.(8-10 micron) and bearings creates an ultra low friction sliding mechanism.
