A Spanish stockbreeder cooperative company of the milk industry has developed a software application to manage its livestock business. This software allows the control of purchases from farmers and the whole management of the business.The software application has been developed using last-generation language, with SQL Server database and link to SAGE Logic Control. It is adaptable to any other kind of management application existing on the market. The company has used this software successfully for five years, what has allowed them exhaustive control of the livestock business. The main advantages of the application are:
- It allows grouping the invoicing into sale batches and into purchaser, distinguishing between batches depending on the kind of animal (sheep, cattle, etc.).
- It manages the payments to livestock farmers in different ways, grouping into different banks.
- It uses simple input data forms and an easy and intuitive navigation.
- It allows printing several kinds of data lists.
The two attached pictures show:
a) Sale batches. One click provides access to all the invoices that are part of it.
b) Payment control of a group of invoices.
The company is looking for commercial agreements with technical assistance to adapt this software tool to livestock companies interested in incorporating it to their management process.
