A French engineering company is looking for industrial partners able to propose a technology allowing aluminium drilling. The thickness of the aluminium parts to be treated is from 6 mm to 8 mm. The profile of the parts is variable with a possible relief of some mm with 40 or 50 millimeters. The surface of the parts is variable from 100 to 1500 cm2. The width of the slots is 0,10 mm minimum and their particularity consist in the fact they are non equidistant. Their length is from 10 to 100 mm (approximatively).The company has already tested laser, water jet cutting, spark machining (Electro erosion) and would like to find more economical or faster technologies.
