A Romamian research institute has developed a simple and compact device, which can be used in general purpose pneumatic installations and pneumatic systems with automatic adjustment. The regulator maintains the output pressure constant, even if, over the cycle, the pressure must have different values. The pneumatic pressure regulator with piston consists of a main body which has intake and exhaust apertures. Between them, one has mounted a regulation valve actuated by an elastic spring. On the main body an actuating electromagnet has been assemblied, which actuates a work piston that acts together with the regulation valve.The work fluid is the industrial compressed air, filtered and non-greased.
The pneumatic pressure regulator can be used in general purpose pneumatic installations and pneumatic systems with automatic adjustment. it has already been tested in laboratory conditions by the Romanian research institute and represents the subject of a Romanian granted patent.
