It processes 3D object images, either by using triangle meshes (surface) or point clouds (3D-scan-data). The software includes modules for data acquisition by optical 3D-scanners, surface calculation, fitting and visualization. Industrial partners are sought for licensing agreement and technical cooperation.

A German research institute has developed a software containing numerous professional tools enabling analysis, processing and treatment of 3D data.

This software is dedicated to the analysis, visualization, compilation and treatment of 3D data. The modular program is offering possibilities for 3D scanner control, point cloud operations like filtering, point resampling, fitting or classification. Further triangle mesh calculation and a large set of mesh operations like refining and reducing, healing and area deformation is available. Particular program options enable qualitative and quantitative form and mesh analysis and comparison.

The program allows to include and apply object textures and offers a wide range of options for visualization and scene arrangement, including simple animation of virtual objects in the scene.

Currently standard plugins are offered for the following functionalities:
- Matching: referencing of several datasets
- Triangulation: creation of triangle meshes
- Healing: filling of holes in the triangle meshes
- Reducing: reduction of datasets
- Refining: improvement of triangle meshes
- Smoothing: flattening of triangle meshes
- Analyze Distances: analysis of gaps
- ScanMobile: 3D scanning with stereo method or Graycode-/ phase shifting method.

A large set of other program functions has been developed for already accessible application areas.
